Christian LaRosa Appointed CEO & Chief Designer of Rosotics, Inc.
Former RMC Executive will lead the AI and Robotics Company
PHOENIX, AZ, USA - JUNE 17, 2019 - Rosotics, Inc. (www.rosotics.com), creator of the world’s most mobile manufacturing systems, announces the appointment of founder Christian LaRosa, as the company’s first Chief Executive Officer, effective June 17. He will additionally assume the role of Chief Designer and Chairman of the Board. Christian will lead Rosotics’ growth to become one of the most capable manufacturing, AI, and robotics corporations in the world.
Christian's expertise in Aerospace Engineering is evident, having worked with ASU’s Daedalus Astronautics as well as the Sun Devil Satellite Laboratory (SDSL). He has previously assisted the development of competition-spec hybrid propellant rocket systems and served on a small team to develop a Pulsed-Plasma Thruster (PPT) under support from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Raytheon. In the past, he has managed a tech startup in the automotive sector, leading his team to build a functional prototype of a 'hoverbike', powered by superconductive magnetic levitation and jet propulsion. During this period, he designed, raised investment funding, and took the concept to fruition while still maintaining razor-sharp attention to detail. Serving as an executive of this company, he took the project viral in over 64 countries, with a gender demographic of <10% to equal - an exceedingly challenging achievement within the motorcycle industry. Christian is also experienced with both patents and trademarks to supplement this skillset. In 2019, he designed and prototyped mass-market turbofan engines using metal additive manufacturing processes, noting that they are drastically altering the way parts can be produced. It is a key belief of his that art and beauty are as important to design as function.
"A child of two working parents, I would often spend much time with my uncle who was an inventor and entrepreneur, and he would tell me stories about the marvelous inventions and technologies the future would bring. He would describe to my young, confused self, tales about a time without disease or poverty, when we would fly on ships through the stars and have computers implanted in our heads. My uncle unfortunately passed away while I was a child, but I knew that time he talked so much about would someday become reality."
That time is growing closer by the day. The sheer impact of technological innovation is touching almost every industry in every country. Christian demonstrates an optimistic outlook at the future rather than viewing it as a dark, gloomy period of history. He sees the society of the future as one capable of more, accommodating of more, and able to tackle much larger problems.
"Many years after my uncle had to leave us - here we are on the precipice of a new landscape of technology, with a renewed interest in innovating internationally. It is because of this shared vision in creating a better future, in combination with your critique, that I am inspired to continue working to deliver on this vision as Chief Executive Officer of Rosotics."
